I finally got my last 1 rating removed from DoorDash. The customer service rep who managed to remove it said it was obvious from our communication that the person wanted to give me a five star rating but hit 1 by mistake. Or hit 1 because in some instances 1 is the highest rating and 5 is the worst. Anyway, it is gone now. I hope. I will check tomorrow. And Sunday. And Monday, etc.
Yet another roofing company came and looked today. He seemed to want the business really badly. We shall see what his proposal is.
I was thinking of getting a new Tesla before the incentives go away. But it’s still too expensive. Even with a decent amount for my trade-in. The guy I spoke with was not very helpful. And not very bright. He asked me “why Tesla” and said “because you love Elon?” My trade in was a Tesla. And I had just said I was not happy with what Elon is doing with the government. So he obviously wasn’t listening and not very attentive. Sigh. Maybe the price of the new vehicles, when they eventually show up – later this year maybe – will be more reasonable. Then I’ll reconsider.
Not many errands to run today. First up, the library. I had the fourth book in the Fairy series waiting for me. I was expecting another big book, like the one I just finished. Instead, this one looks like a novella. I think I will request the fifth book in the series as well then. Maybe on Monday.
After that, I headed to the grocery store. Since I am having a mini marathon of watching the available episodes of The Wheel of Time series, I wanted extra snackage. I got some cereal, some fig newtons and a couple other things. Oh, I also got an artichoke which I will have with dinner tomorrow night I think. Maybe that and the last of the asparagus. And just now I realized that I missed an errand. Poop. (Pooping wasn’t the errand…)
Back home, I did a few dishes and played and read. A nice afternoon and day.
I have promised to have the tickets for both the GLO opera (which is happening in the summer) and for the opera fundraiser (happening in May) up and ready to sell on the website by Monday. I hope to actually have it all done on Saturday. But I have Sunday as a buffer in case of problems or whatever. I do like to underpromise and over produce!
Ted Lasso will have a fourth Season! I’m happy and worried at the same time.
Ok, time to eat dinner and get watching! Three episodes of Wheel of Time. I hope that I survive…
