I did not sleep well. But I expected that and dealt with it. I could, though, use a nap. And I haven’t gotten enough of one. Maybe I will try to get to sleep as close to midnight as possible. We shall see.

After waking up, I did a lot of nothing, as usual. I did some Duolingo. The tryhards were dominant in this week’s leaderboard. I did almost twice as much Duolingo this week as I usually do and I am barely in the top ten heading to the last week of the tournament. Not that I really care either way. I am just happy that I will stay in the diamond league! When will I let me streak collapse? Someday, I am sure.

I also played a little bit. I tried the first flying trial and didn’t do too well. I really do need practice flying if I am to get any of the flying trials completed. I did a couple other things as well. I may play more tonight.

Eventually, I got out of bed, did my morning ablutions and headed off to pick JC up for his lunch date with his son. I got to the house and we had a few minutes. I took the time to ensure that JC had the Outlook app on his computer. He did! I updated it. And then launched it. It was already on his task bar at the bottom of his screen. It still asked me for the two stage security, but after that, it was smooth sailing. I wonder what will happen tomorrow. All in all, though, it is a lot fewer steps that JC was having to execute going to the mail from his web browser.

We got to Auburn on time and picked TC up. He was amenable to trying a new to me (and JC) place. Apparently he had been there before. Which isn’t surprising since he lives in Auburn…It was pretty empty in there, which was a nice change from the busy-ness that we had last week at Prison City. Fairly big menu. Everyone found something they could eat. I chose a Reuben, knowing that it was going to be OK at best. Why? Because it was on toast and not grilled. Why make a Reuben if you aren’t going to grill it. It was tasty – not enough Swiss cheese, imho. And the fries are the kind that you can tell if they are done or not – double dipped or not. They will be double dipped when I have the other half of the sandwich!

Good but would not recommend – I like my Reubens grilled!

After getting back to JCs house, we checked that he could get into his email. He could. If he remembers to click on the envelope icon and not the icon he thinks he needs to click on. Sigh. And we also did some emailing, sending CC, BG and me copies of his Haiku document. I finally learned, I think, how to add an attachment to an email in Outlook. It is funny how easy things are once you learn how to do them.

I headed back home and didn’t do much. I read a little and I did take about half an hour’s worth of nap. I could have used more. At some point, I swapped out my winter, flannel sheets (four sets) for four sets of non-flannel sheets for the summer and fall seasons. So excited! Made the bed and got the laundry ready to launder. When I head downstairs in a few minutes to make more tacos (I bought some different corn tortilla shells), I will put the laundry in. I like doing things in a manner that makes me use as little motion as possible. Yay laziness!

Happy Sunday! Happy first week of June! I am doing my accounts tonight and expect a huge drop in free cash since I paid for the last half of the School Taxes from my checking account. Capitalism sucks.
