The Universe works in mysterious ways.

Today my first dashing shift was great. Only one not good dash – a couple of so-so dashes and the rest were good. And a miracle ride. I am even tempted to not dash again today, but I probably will. Since the weather is nice and I don’t have a lot of pressing things to do on my agenda today.

While dashing, I ran into my SA crush, J. It was a bit of a shock to see her. Happy shock. I think I distracted her too much though. I like to think that she was happy to see me. Hard to tell of course. Impossible to tell if someone is just being nice or has the least little shred of interest. Thinking about her reminded me of two women who I had crushes on back when I was going to Ithaca College. Loved those two. Though they intimidated the poop out of me…I do plan to head to the SA on Friday to apologize for distracting her. Anything is possible (sadly, most things are unlikely).

Bear Minimum (no lower body…)

My second dash was decent. About the same mileage, but without the miracle ride, so I made a little less. Still, it was a good dashing day. Woo hoo! One more dashing day before the weekend!

I am going to write something sometime about the two sides of Elon Musk’s technological contributions to the world. I really don’t know what the heck he is doing in Washington. I mean, I understand what he says his mission is, but he seems to be doing it ass backwards. Or is that Bass Ackwards? Anyway, there are two (main) sides (with a spectrum of possibilities in between) to a lot of his projects. Way too long to go into here. Maybe a real news organization would like the article if I ever really write it and get it to a point where I would like to try and get it published. Of course, it might just end up here…

Today was bill paying day. And I started the process of not paying for house insurance that I didn’t even know I had. For all of a couple of weeks. I am hoping they will come to their senses and just eat the $73. Not that it is that much, but it is one of those silly “principle” things. If they had actually insured me for a few months and I had underpaid them somehow, then great. But to charge me any money for not insuring me – that’s just not cricket. The rules of which I don’t really know, despite having spent a year in England as a child…

There are two scammers trying to get my phone number again. I wish that there was a way to use whatsapp without exposing my phone number to them. Just to see what they do. But there isn’t. Sigh. I think the same is true on Telegram and on Zangi. Well, poo.

Anyone else get a little concerned when things seem to be going a little too well?
