Except for having to go to Syracuse again, today is another relaxing day. I have been up since around 8:30 am and have been quietly doing stuff. Mostly presidential campaign stuff so far. But I do think I will get some books done this afternoon and maybe tonight after the Syracuse run.

On another note entirely. I decided I was going to have pizza and wings on Friday. From the new pizza chain that opened a store here in Geneva. I knew that Friday would be a busy day for them, but decided to go ahead and do it anyway. I drove up there and placed my order for a specific pick up time. I got my crap done before 6:30pm so I headed up there about half an hour early in hopes that the food wasn’t ready. It was, though they tried to make it seem like it wasn’t. The wings were basically cold. And the pizza was not sliced at all. Not sure what that was about. I liked the taste of both the wings and the pizza though. So I will give them another chance. But next time I will order and then just wait so that everything is hot.

I went down into the basement to put some laundry in and found the floor covered in water and the sound of running water. I thought it could be the furnace. But it wasn’t. It was the hot water heater. Woo hoo. I called my guy and he told me to turn off the water – which I had thought of. I didn’t see the valve on top of the hot water heater, so I turned off all the water to the house.

He came over and showed me me how to turn off the water to only the water heater. He said that I should call the people who installed it and ask how long the warranty was. Which I did. They said they installed the heater in 2017. I think they are wrong. But I guess it could be. 2017 was a bad year (mom died). And they thought that the warranty was over. So I hung up and called my guy back. He is going to squeeze me in tomorrow and get me a new water heater. It’s only money.

In other news, I was supposed to pick SM up from the SYR airport today as I mentioned above. Then I wasn’t. Then she was flying into Rochester. No, she was flying into SYR after all. But later. And then later. And then later. And then, well, she might fly in tomorrow. Traveling in the winter in the North East of America is such fun.

Meanwhile, at home, at least we have heat again, even if we don’t have hot water. I am going to have more pizza and some wings for dinner. And maybe a side salad.

I now try to juggle with my mouth closed – but I don’t always manage

Augustus for President: If I’ve done this math thing correctly, which is in doubt, I think I have sort of figured out what my priorities for spending time and energy in a place needs to be when I actually start campaigning actively. Er…I just took a look and sure enough, errors had creeped into the spreadsheet. I would love to blame MAGA people for it, but it was simply silly user error. And I am the user. Onwards. Ok, am I hallucinating? It takes 270 electoral votes to win. And if I am doing the math correctly, that is doable with only the 13 most populous states. I can do that. Can’t I?

I think the campaign will need logo-ized pens at some point before the trip in February.

Only 450+ thoughts to assign in the ASS for president thought database. Woo hoo.
